Workplace Wellbeing – Work-life Balance Workshop
As you may be aware, having a positive work-life balance can help employees carve out enough time for both work and the many other areas of their lives. Whilst ensuring balance isn’t the sole responsibility of employers, you can do a lot to help by providing opportunities for your employees to reflect on the balance in their lives and offer them tools to help them strike the balance they want. Having happier employees is good news for your business, organisation or school overall; employees who live balanced lives are better equipped to meet the demands of the workplace and perform effectively in their roles.
The Mental Health Foundation states:
“The cumulative effect of increased working hours is having an important effect on the lifestyle of a huge number of people, which is likely to prove damaging to their mental well-being.”
Poor mental wellbeing directly affects how employees behave at work: a government report on work-related stress demonstrated that stress accounted for nearly half of all working days lost because of ill health.
Aims of the workshop:
- To consider what balance is and its importance
- To enable attendees to identify what gets in the way of balance
- To give attendees the opportunity to reflect on where they are now and their ideal
- To provide attendees with some tools and techniques to help them to achieve the balance that is right for them in the future
Who is the workshop for:
The workshop would be of benefit to all staff and/or managers and leaders within organisations, businesses and schools. It could be delivered to an entire staff or combinations of employees for whom you feel it would be of most benefit.
If you want to take the first step towards creating the next chapter, this inspiring, powerful and interactive transformational workshop is for you.
Everyone reaches a point in life when something has to change. Sometimes, our lives are not as fulfilling as they once were and we know that something is missing. Sometimes we have to evolve and adapt to new circumstances. Sometimes, at this crossroads, the thought of change can be overwhelming. Whatever is driving the desire to reinvent yourself, there is no time like the present to down the cup of courage and take the first step towards your reinvention.
Before pressing the restart button, it’s important to step away from the demands of everyday life. Take time out to reflect on where you are now and focus on what you want from the future.
During this workshop, you will:
Get clear on your ‘why’ or life purpose.
Discover what is important to you.
Understand your motivation and core needs.
Explore how you see yourself now and how you want to show up in the next chapter of your life.
Create your vision for the future aligning it to your new found understanding so that you are happy and fulfilled.
Learn how to set meaningful goals and avoid ‘overwhelm’.
Think about yourself and others during this time of change.
Focus on your action plan to turn your vision into reality.
Invest some time in yourself for a change and kick-start your reinvention…
